In the context of economic globalization, competition among enterprises isincreasingly fierce, thus while technological innovation has become the fundamentalway to improve the international competitiveness of the enterprise, the construction ofthe National Technology Innovation System (NTIS) has also become a prerequisitefor improving its technological innovation capability. This paper aims at exploring theimpact that the NTIS have on international competitiveness of the enterprise, andresearching for a feasible solution to enhance the international competitiveness ofChina's enterprise in the world market.Take China's Innovation External Factor first. On the part of government'ssupport, neither its R&D input nor policy construction is favorable to thetechnological innovation of the enterprise. And on the part of technology transfer, separateness among enterprises or among enterprise, R&D Institutions and highereducation, together with an inadequate infrastructure system as well as an inefficientprotection over Intellectual property rights all prevent China's enterprise fromenhancing its innovation capability. On the part of Innovation Core Factor, a weaktechnological innovation capability has resulted in a serious shortage of R&D inputand patents output and remarkably restricted the improvement of the internationalcompetitiveness of China's enterprise within narrow limits. This paper starts with the analysis of China's innovation external factor, researches on the way external factor affect core factor and the way external factorswitch to core factor, as well as the influence of core factor on the internationalcompetitiveness of the enterprise. Then, based on the panel data from 49 countriesand a selection of 15 indexes, the paper builds an index system to stand for NTIS.Through factor analysis and linear regression to the international competitiveness ofthe enterprise, the empirical analysis finally draws the conclusion that NTIS doeshave a significant influence on international competitiveness of the enterprise. Thepaper also determines three most significant indexes, namely cooperation betweenenterprises, financial support from government to technological innovation andgovernment protection over Intellectual property rights. Finally, the paper puts forthsome suggestions and policies accordingly, with an aim to enhance the internationalcompetitiveness of the enterprise.
