Study On Evaluation And Developmental Countermeasures Of The Six Provinces Open Economy In The Middle Region

Our country comes into a new open-up situation in the background of economic globalization and integration of the regional economy. The central area with a low rate of economic development is located in the China's inter; the main reason is that its open economy lag behind. From the view of the developing process of the eastern economy and the real state of the central area, the central area enlarged its room, accelerate the economy and fulfill its growing-up as long as it develops open economy, take fully advantage of the two kinds of resources and markets. So far most mathematicians and experts investigate open economy in some single province of middle region rather than in the whole system. But the central area plays an important role in the harmonious regional development of the country as one of the three belts. Therefore it is important to treat the central area as a whole and do the relative research. With the intention of research for the six regional provinces in the thesis it has essential theory meanings as well as the real meanings.Based on the research of open economy theory and connected with the real situation in the central area, it designs a suit of system of evaluation standard for open economy and evaluates the development of open economy in the central area from five aspects: the opening ratio on foreign trade, the opening ratio on foreign capitals, the opening ratio on tourism, the opening ratio on "going global" and integrated opening ratio. It suggests that there is great different and unbalanced economic development among these six provinces in middle region. Meanwhile compared the open economy in the middle to the economy in the east and the west and the average in China, it suggests that the level of open economy in the middle is obviously lower than the average level in the east and the whole country. As to further analyze the function of open economy for the development of economy, the thesis picks up foreign trade and foreign direct investment as the example analysis, which illustrates its limited contributions to the development of economy. According to the result of the analysis the thesis points out the problems in the process of developing the open economy in the central area as well as analyzes and concludes the reasons, it also set forth some relative countermeasures for improving the level of development of open economy from foreign trade and making using of foreign investment to "going-out".
