Evaluation Index System Research On Baicheng Sustainable Development

In recent years, evaluation index system of urban sustainable development and empirical research has become a subject of research in the world economy. China's urban process is developing steadily. Practical lessons make us recognize that the city must take the path of sustainable development to achieve economic, social, the coordinated development of the environment. So to build up an urban sustainable development evaluation system and empirical study, to evaluate and monitor the state of urban sustainable development and the degree of continuing growth at this stage, and to provide a strong decision-making theoretical support for sustainable development has practical importance to the future development.This paper is based on statistical data of Baicheng City from 1996 to 2004. It makes use of Baicheng sustainable development evaluation system to create data tables. Subsequently it makes use of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to calculate numerical targets, validation, so that a city can clearly definite the state of the city's sustainable development, the degree of the city's sustainable development and development tendency.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into three parts.Firstly, documentary summarization. The first part introduces the study of evaluation system of sustainable development of foreign scholars; the domestic study of evaluation system of sustainable development.Secondly, the city's evaluation system of sustainable development. The second part introduces the city's evaluation system of sustainable development. It begins with the construction of the system of sustainable development indicators, the construction of urban sustainable development and the factors affecting urban designed principles of sustainable development evaluation index system. It introduces Evaluation of urban sustainable development in the designed structures and contents of various indicators.Thirdly, analyze Baicheng sustainable development indicator system. The third part contains two parts: the major sub-indexes original data collection, and the analysis of Baicheng sustainable development of a comprehensive evaluation of the results. At first, it introduces city comprehensive evaluation system of indicators of sustainable development indicators---the original data collected. And it explains the chosen indicators simply, and then it calculates the comparison of all index power, the non-dimensional data processing and certification, at last it reaches the final conclusions.
