Since the implementation of the"golden weekend"system in 1999, the number of travel services in China has largely increased. However, it is just a quantity growth. The enterprisemonomer scale is slight and the repetive production phenomenon is very common.The whole industry has long been known as "small, dispersive, weak and bad".That is also to say the travel agency enterprise competitiveness is very weak. At present researches on this problem are mainly focus on the phenomenon description, and the deep level analysis is very little;also,there are much more research on the core competitiveness than on the correlative theory system analysis.In this situation, bases on the present situation of the travel service industry, with the aid of research achievements related, this article attempts to define the definition of the enterprise competitiveness of travel service and systemize the related influnce factors; furthermore, an index system of the enterprise competitiveness is set up in order to give some right suggestions for the improving of enterprise competitiveness of the travel service.This paper mainly contains the following contents: fundeamental theoretical studies of enterprise competitiveness of travel service, studies of the impacting factors of enterprise competitiveness of travel service, and studies of the system of index of the enterprise competitiveness of travel service.There are two major achivements in this paper: one is the influence factors model of travel service enterprise competitiveness has been structrued, which is isolated from the traditional analysis of thought being confined to the core competitiveness; the other is that the attempt has established the travel agency enterprise competitiveness appraisal index system and the appraisal method, both considering the financial factors and non- financial factors which simultaneously pays great attention to the development of the travel service.To sum up, this article attempts to define the definition, the influence factors, the appraisal index system of the travel agency enterprise competitiveness,which is just a basic theory and hope the others can offer their valuable ideas. Meanwhile this carries on the theory union practice to this question the research, to the time inquired about the travel agency enterprisecompetitive ability promotion the effective development way, providesthe correct mentality for the promotion enterprise competitiveability. This paper attempts to probe into the effective development path for travel services and how to optimize it, in order to give some right suggestions for the improve of the enterprise competitiveness of the travel service.
