Study On The Index System Of Modernization Of Transportation

The modernization of transportation is an important part of the modernization of society and economy. Although transportation plays an important role in the supporting and leading aspects, the core of the evaluation on the modernization of society and economy hasn't touched on the transportation problem yet. There isn't still a fixed index to evaluate transportation, which is a key factor of the modernization of society and economy. So it is necessary to study the modernization of transportation specially.Based on the study on the comprehensive transportation system, this paper analyzed the basic characters of the modernization of transportation by comparing with the development of the modernized transportation home and abroad from four categories: transportation adaptability, transportation facilities and instruments, operation efficiency and sustainable development of transportation, established the index system of modernization of transportation, and put forward the research method and research thought. Finally, this paper proved that the index system had great practical value.By integrating quantity and quality, this paper did research on the index system. It made the corporation more plausible by comparing the relative numbers instead of the absolute number, and the result more accurate by transforming the qualitative indexes into quantitative ones.By testing and proving the index system with the example of Heilongjiang, this paper combined the theory with the practice. Hope that this research will do some help to the study on the modernization of transportation in provinces of our country.
