In the time of knowledge economy, the knowledge worker receivesmore and more attention and recognition. In recent years, the research on theinspiration of knowledge worker has become one of the hot topics in the academiccircles and business community. Basing on the psychological contract, the articleexplores the effective approaches of inspiring knowledge worker by the way ofdemonstration while summarizing those existing theories of inspiration. At last, thearticle proposes the inspiration model basing on psychological contract, which iscomposed of the value-oriented inspiration, the culture-oriented inspiration, theachievement-oriented inspiration, the career-oriented inspiration and thesensation-oriented inspiration.The article is composed of five chapters:The first chapter summarizes many famous theories about inspiration from theangle of economics and management science. Meanwhile the article researches onthe former inspiration mechanism about knowledge enterprise and knowledgeworker especially, in order to find the advantages and disadvantages of the existinginspiration mechanism.The second chapter mainly summarizes the existing research achievements ofpsychological contract. At present in the academic circles there are mainly two types of research on psychological contract, namely theoretical research and appliedresearch. The article belongs to the applied research on psychological contract.The third chapter analyzes the relations between psychology contract and theinspiration of knowledge worker concretely. After summarizing the characteristic ofknowledge worker, the article proposes the two logistic assumptions of inspiringknowledge worker from the angle of economics and management science.Meanwhile the article demonstrates that psychological contract is in accord with thelogistic assumptions of inspiring knowledge worker. Therefore it is feasibletheoretically that inspiring knowledge worker basing on psychological contract.The fourth chapter analyzes the key factors of psychology contract construction,and the degree of perceiving the psychological contract violation about knowledgeworker by the way of demonstration. The research discovered that afterpsychological contract violation, knowledge worker doesn't necessarily behavenegatively. The key reason is that the degree of perceiving the psychologicalcontract violation.The fifth chapter proposes the inspiration model basing on psychologicalcontract, which is composed of thc value-oriented inspiration, the culture-orientedinspiration, the achievement-oriented inspiration, the career-oriented inspiration andthe sensation-oriented inspiration. The article expounds the viewpoint that the coreof inspiration is reconstructing the psychological contract of knowledge workerpromptly and accurately and weakening the apperception of psychological contractviolation.
