| Since the implementation of the opening and reform policy, China has obtained distinctive achievements in Foreign Direct Investment. FDI plays a key role in the speedy growth of China's economy. However, there is a serious uneven situation in the utilization of foreign fund among different areas in China.The imbalanced regional format in getting FDI in our country is characterized by a pattern of"the east taking up the heavier balance of the scale to the west." It is important to analysis wether this format has played a role in growth gaps among different areas, and how large role it played.This paper wishes to conduct a systematic and wide survey on the relations between FDI and the economic growth of the different areas. Firstly, this paper overviews some related economics theories about FDI and economic growth. Secondly, the paper analyzes the situation of FDI and economic growth. Thirdly, this paper discussed relations between FDI and ecomomic growth in the following four aspects: the general evaluation of the influence that FDI has on the ecomomic growth of the different areas, the influence that FDI has on the foreign trade, the influence that FDI has on the industrial structure and the influence that FDI has on employment. In the part of survey, the paper chooses two provinces form every area. The paper concludes result of influence that FDI has on four aspects based on survey, and answers why the result were caused. Finaly, the paper indicts research aspects in future.Through Comparative Research, I find that the influence of FDI on Regional Growth is different. The influence of FDI on east GDP is most obvious. The influence of FDI on east import is most obvious than export, but the influence of FDI on west export is most obvious than import. FDI advanced development of second industry in aeras. The influence of FDI on employment is not obviously different among aeras.It is a great important to analysis relations between FDI and economic growth of different areas. The paper try to discover the different influence that FDI has on different areas, expecting to provide a certain realistic meaning to advance economic growth by using FDI properly. |
