Occupational commitment is one's attitude on his occupation; reflect one's desire to keep on his occupation. As the change of modern society and economic form was developed,people's working values have changed enormously,the occupational commitment was becoming an .Important respect in exploring people's organizational psychology and behavior.On the basis of investigation, study, and reference to various literature and data, this thesis works out the structures questionnaire about the career commitment of the employees in telecommunication enterprises. The structural elements of the career commitment of the employees in telecommunication enterprises have been educed through the actual investigation, and the characteristics of the career commitment of the employees in telecommunication enterprises have been discussed.The results show :①the career commitment of the employees in telecommunication enterprises is composed of four elements: affective commitment, normative commitment, continuance commitment, and ideal commitment.②The affective commitment of the employees in telecommunication enterprises varies greatly from length of service to length of service.③The continuance commitment of the employees in telecommunication enterprises is significantly different in the different age, length of service, marital status, and family bring-up condition.④The ideal commitment of the employees in telecommunication enterprises, with different educational status, is rather different.⑤Obviously, the career commitment is positively related to organization citizen behavior, organization commitment, job satisfaction, work ethic, and need for achievement, and negatively related to career withdrawal cognition and job withdrawal cognition.The survey of this thesis shall offer certain theoretical value and actual significance to the modern human resources management of the telecommunication enterprises, such as in establishing the training system on employees, the career management policy, salary system, etc.
