Research Of Export Benefit's Restricted Factors In China's Iron And Steel Industry

Iron and steel industry is the important foundation of national economy. The status of iron and steel trade in the international trade grows day by day. In recent years, China's export of iron and steel products grow rapidly and become the biggest iron and steel product export country of the world gradually. China's steel industry is at a disadvantageous position in the world steel market which has been reflected in the following aspects: low productivity compared to the world average, relatively weak export capacity, inferior technology dominated,which results in lower export benefit.In view of this, this paper analysis the four restricted factors in China's iron and steel industry to solve the problem on iron and steel trade deficit, adopts the method combineing theoretical and authentic proof analysis, and makes some perspectives and solutions.This paper firstly analysis the development process of China's iron and steel export benefit, the reality and the prospects of export in the international and domestic environment background, uses the method of combining the volume and amount. Then analysis the four restricted factors of China's iron and steel industry: concentration ratio, products structure, the cost of raw materials, energy efficiency. The variables involved in these studies were mostly based on the qualitative analysis; however econometric analysis was rarely applied in these studies. This paper proves the relevance on econometrics principle by model building, and analysis each factor according to the results of model matching. Finally suggests a solution for solving the current problem in China's steel trade industry.
