Globalization has undoubtedly become a major trend in today’s world economy, culture and other aspects of development. Increasing competition for Chinese manufacturing industries have posed a serious challenge. As the largest steel producer, China Steel position in international trade is very important. In international trade, trade friction event for China’s steel industry continues unabated and how to deal with foreign steel trade friction has become our government and export enterprises’ urgent issue. China’s foreign steel trade friction situation has further deteriorated; anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguard measures have become huge problems. "Stepping out" is one way for Chinese steel industry to establish effective measures to own international status, "stepping out " strategy needs a full understanding of friction, so that we can effectively avoid risks, implement programs, and a global strategic perspective solution and thus enhance the international competitiveness of the steel industry. This paper analyzes the current situation and the detailed analysis of the steel industry based on China’s friction trade. Also the paper has discussed the corresponding countermeasures from companies, government, and industry aspects.
