Study On ICTs And Response Of Spatial Polarization In Northeast China

The influence of globalization and informatization on the development of city and region has been greater and greater. Every revolution of technology brings the transform of society and economy, but every progress of technology must suit the condition of society and economy and progress of technology is the driving force of development of city and region and its change of spacial structure. Now ICTs is bringing people to era of information. There are more and more factors influencing the spacial structure of region, including income, employment, ethnic group and information. Certainly, technology of information is not the only influencing factor to the change of spacial structure, but it will be the dominant factor. The thesis launches on the actuality of the study of the influence on the regional development, analyses the developmental character and dynamic mechanism of regional spacial structure, combining with ICTs and Response of Spatial Polarization in Northeast China, in order to discuss the developmental strategy and planning of the region.By the study of ICTs and Response of Spatial Polarization in Northeast China, combining with the"T"spacial structure,"Three circle"pattern,"The era of four city",the thesis uses GIS to analyse the data of Post, Telecom and Internet, and draw some basic conclusion.The form and evolvement of Spacial structure is in accordance with location and the background of society and economy, but is also influenced by different factors in different times. By the influence of ICTs, the inner organization, exterior form and spacial structure may be changed, and infect the changing of the total spacial structure.The pattern of Telecom is similar to the spacial structure of Northeast China. From the pattern of Post, we can see the track of the development of Northeast China. From the pattern of Internet, we can see the trend of the developing of Northeast China. Therefore, the Telecom is the main influencing factor of economy and spacial structure of Northeast China.Following the development of Telecom and Internet, the spatial polarization in Northeast China is obvious. The way of spatial Polarization in Northeast China is to the South, and it will take on the"dumbbell"shape.By the optimization and upgrade of industry structure, the industry may be similar to each other in Northeast China. Follwing the developing of information industry and High-tech Industrial Development Parks, Northeast China may come into the new progress of polarization.Therefore, Northeast China must think over with the global view, and take local actions. In the progress of the city-planning, everyone must pay attention to the network thinking, dynamic thinking and innovative thinking.
