Research And Implementation On Traceability System Of Key Cereal Enterprise

Cereal products are the majority of consumable agricultural products in China and play a significant role in diets of ordinary people. Particularly to China, a country which plant food contains key parts, the importance of cereal products becomes indispensable.Taking key cereal enterprise as entering point and choosing wheat (grain) and peanut (oil plant) as targets, this paper mainly focuses on the primary problems in planting, capturing, storage, process and logistics. Starting with analysis on pollution sources and pollution tracks, specific researches are launched on methods of constructing cereal product traceability systems. It is expected that the dissertation would make contribution to improve agricultural product quality safety management in enterprise and in food chain.The major research work and contributions of this dissertation are as follows:(1) Coordinate quality safety laws, regulations and procedures on agricultural product and food, and then build cereal product quality safety legal system. On the analysis of existing laws and regulations of Food Quality Safety, it puts forward "From Farm to Table" Cereal Product Quality Safety Legal System which contains basic parts from production input to end product circulation.(2) Based on cereal product quality safety legal system and combined with enterprise practice, this paper establishes designing rules of building traceability system. On basis of investigation of procurement, production and delivery, it makes fully use of information on the department of quality safety management and consequently build the framework of traceability system.(3) Oriented key cereal enterprises, this paper develops the traceability system. By adopting XML and Web Services and on the development platform constitute of Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005, it designs and develops traceability system grounded on cereal product batch number. Hence, it could provide comprehensive traceability information from the point of view of customer, surveillance and enterprise itself.Several research methods are utilized in the total process of dissertation, such as legal system, supply chain management and HACCP. Through research and implementation, it is demonstrated that traceability system is practicable and feasible to the key cereal enterprise in terms of its management and technology abilities. It will support the construction Project of Cereal Product Quality Safety Traceability on Whole Course in the future.
