Since the open-door policy launched, China has enjoyed a high-speed economic growth. The issue of whether or not this growth can be maintained becomes one of the hottest concerns by academics. Comparatively, Japan also achieved continues high-speed growth during 1955 to early 1970s, and this economic miracle enabled Japan to become the second strongest economy in the world.
