Since the reform and opening up to the outside world, along with the introduction of international automobile enterprise, the Chinese car industry experiences the process of market reform: from uniform production and price to market modulation. That is the process of deregulation which studied in the thesis.In fact, deregulation is the institutional change. During the institutional change of deregulation, enterprise strategy and industrial organization are important factor. This thesis studies the deregulation of car industry, studies what the logic law and the dynamic mechanism is and what the sequence of deregulation is.In the frame of this paper, there is profound theory to support the deregulation of the car industry. Since the reform and opening up to the outside world, the demand of market increases sharply and the supply is limit, so many enterprises enter the market and impel the deregulation of the car industry. It is the first step of deregulation. When the demand and supply keep equilibrium or the supply surpasses the demand, price regulation is invalid. Along with the fierce competition and the mature product market, technology innovation will be the main competitive method and it will bring on the industry recombination, so the exit deregulation emerges.This thesis studies the industrial drive of market reform of the Chinese car industry from deregulation. So, the theory of industrial organization is the basic theory. And since the scale economy is marked in the car industry, the car manufacturers mainly take the strategy such as competition in quantity or scale. So we take the game theory to analyze the car manufacturers'behavior.
