This article anal sized the developmental conditions and the problems of Chinese sports insurance. And at the same time, this article penetrated into the comparatively mature American Sports insurance. But here the point needed stressed is this article aims to find the backward aspects and then learn from the successful mature American experience through the example of American sports insurance. This article made comprehensive statement on the various views of the articles of sports insurance with the methods of social investigation, mathematical and logical analysis and so on. Through the upper study, this article showed a clear picture of Chinese sports insurance conditions as well as the problems. Owning to the late development of Chinese sports insurance, there are many backward points in the various stages as macro,medium and micro stages. Chinese sports insurance is still on the early developmental stage from the various levels as social economical legal environment,the organization structure of sports insurance industry,the scope of sports insurance and the specific division and so on. The existing specific problems are the following:1the lacking of specific legal items, 2the lacking of effective support of finical policy, 3the lacking of sports insurance provider and the competitive small scope, 4the lacking of sports insurance conscious for relevant workers, 5the lacking of professional sports insurance workers, 6the lacking of effective and complete commercialization and marketing level, 7the lacking of the utilization for modern marketing technology. The upper problems are the main bottleneck for the development of Chinese sports insurance. On the basis of scientific and systematic study, this dissertation put forward relevant developmental ideas and strategies through the total consideration about the development conditions of sports insurance. The author thought that the long-term healthy development of Chinese sports insurance need the construction of sports insurance market. And the market includes the following aspects such as the management department,the insurance company,the agency and the insurance resource. And the important thing is the management department is in charge of the marketing operating activity and the general national sports bureau is in charge of sports insurance market. At the same time, From the point of macro layer, we need to construct relevant economical legal environment as well as developmental policy to explore the total scope; from the point of media layer, we need to cultivate high-level human resource,reform the inner structure and enrich the sports insurance types; and from the point of micro layer, we need to reform various sports insurance content,charge method and standard for compensation and put more effort on the analysis and study of different sports risk.
