| Recently, in the building of Jinan city, there are some districts which are very old in bad infrastructure and environment. Along with the expediting of urbanization, the area of Jinan city is continually enlarging, more villages are subordinated to the range of the urban area. At present, the function of the squatter settlements in the old city couldn't fulfill the demand of the development of social politics and economy, and the existing of them has already hindered the healthy development of Jinan city, seriously damaged the city's image, and even would initiated a few social problems. In order to revitalize the old city districts and improve human settlement environment of urban inhabitation, we must renovate them. Concurrently the rebuilding of the squatter settlement will be in favor of digging and economizing land, and planning land of city and countryside. This thesis consistes 7 sections.The first section is introduction. The author has determined the conception of the squatter settlement, explained briefly the researchful meaning and research methods, the researchful present situation of squatter settlements' rebuilding at home and abroad.The second section is the theoretical foundation of the rebuilding of the squatter settlement. The author has briefly descriped the theories correlating to the rebuilding of the squatter settlement, such as the Science of Human Settlements, city renewal theory, urban management theory, organic renewal theory of old town renewal, eco-city theory,and so on.The third section is the characters of the squatter settlement and human habitat existing environment in Jinan. The squatter settlements have been falled into four types. By using airborne and satellite remote sensing image, combined with field investigation, the author has confirmed the indexes of the squatter settlement in Jinan, such as the number, total floor areas, total populations , and so on. And the author has found out the existing problems, analysed the causes of their formation and the effections to urban development,and generalized the present situation and existent problems of the rebuilding of the squatter settlement.The forth section is the feasibility assessment of the rebuilding of the squatter settlement in Jinan. Base on the experts' suggestions, the author has selected some indexes, and endowed weight, constructed evaluation model, evaluated the feasibility of the rebuilding of the squatter settlement, and classified according to the degree of difficulty in rebuilding.The fifth section is the rebuilding models of the squatter settlement in Jinan. The author has explained the rebuilding principia, and discussed models of financing, operation and removal.The sixth section is the suggestions to the rebuilding of the squatter settlement in Jinan.The seventh section is conclusion . |
