A Study On Generalization Of Science Authority

With the development of science, it functions in society more and more importantly ,the status of science authority is been built, and roles of scientists is becoming multiplicate. At the same time, science authority by dimension of science interior functions more and more obviously, and shoulders more and more social duties. Authoritative science and science authority, as different layers, the effects show the trend of magnification and generation.Aiming at the phenomenon of magnification and generation of science authority, this thesis raise a series of questions from the case of Linus Pauling at the beginning. After analyzing characteristics of science authority, it defines generalization of science authority, generalize types of generalization of science authority. By analyzing both the inner-history and outer-history of science, it summarizes causes of generalization of science authority: impersonal base, drive of time, cognitive windage, and limitations of society, science, and scientist. Afterwards, it demonstrates the negative effects of generation of scientific authorities, finally proposes solutions to control the negative effects of the generation of science authorities, hopes to enlighten using science authorities reasonably.
