Research On Highway Engineering Investment Predict By Artificial Neural Network

The construction of highway engineering is a problem that impacts the national economy and the people's livelihood. The maturity and development of the highway construction have great effects on keeping the economic development and improving the level of people' lives. Today on one hand the construction of highway is increasing quickly, on the other hand our country needs most highways with advanced level and miles. But the problem of losing control of the highway investment is worse than before. The most important reason is the inaccuracy of the prediction of highway investment. Based on the above facts, the paper introduces the artificial neural network to establish a new model of the prediction of highway investment to improve the current operational situation. And then design software to predict highway investment.On the basis of the highway engineering investment and measurement theories, the paper analyzes the main reason of the problem that the highway investment is out of control severely, and comparing the existing prediction models of highway investment. The result which applies the artificial neural network and designing correlative software to predict investment of highway can overcome weakness of the economical model which is now available, and can also increase reliability of highway investment by setting up the new model. This research provides a new effective method for basis of managing highway engineering project cost. This result of this paper has an active leading function for the settlement of the prediction to highway investment.
