Analysis Of Shanghai Creative Industry Convergence Effect

In the era of New Economy, the development of information and network technology, which leads to culture integrate with technology and economy, greatly furthers the development of creative industry (CI) in the world. Creative industry is the new tendency of cosmopolis industries development. It unions the economy, culture, technology and art, becomes the common junction of secondary industry and tertiary industry development and embodies the convergences of historical contextual and modern culture, knowledge and wisdom.This dissertation takes Shanghai as the research geographic range, analyzes the current situation of Shanghai CI and external and internal reasons to motivate the convergence. The dissertation also gets enlightenment to Shanghai CI development by researching the development experiences of foreign CI. This is the first level of research, and is the theoretical and practical basis of the further research. The second level's research is the nodus, mainly discussing industry developing mechanism, convergence model and how to turn CI convergence effect to the better and putting forward the measures to develop Shanghai CI. In a qualified sense, CI now becomes an ideal industry developing mode for Shanghai transforming urban function, readjusting industrial structure and changing economic growth mode.The dissertation is composed of introduction, six chapters and conclusion. The introduction expounds the background, significance of topic choosing and domestic and oversea research situation. As the below chapters' theoretical matting, the first chapter expatiate CI's origin, connotation and relationship with New Economy. Chapter Two analyses Shanghai CI development status in quo and existing questions, and classifies the current seventy-five convergence zone for the purpose of researching convergence reason. The third chapter is the analysis of Shanghai CI convergence motive, which regards that CI's convergence results from both Shanghai urban features' reflections and industry itself. In the Chapter Four, through researching foreign CI development, it provides reference for Shanghai CI development. Chapter Five analyses Shanghai CI convergence effect, deduces convergence model of Shanghai CI development. Chapter Six brings forward how to make CI exemplify the convergence effect and the measures to develop Shanghai CI.
