Study On The Demand Of Main Paper Products And The Industrial Structure Readjustment In China

At present, the contradiction between supply and demand of paper products market is increasing serious and the function of demand is outstanding more and more in the market. The relationship between the development of paper industry and the change of demand has been closer. The demand change occupies the predominant position to leading industrial structure change, especially in the situation of demand deficiencies. So the study on paper product consumption demand is significative either theoretically or realistically for understanding and holding paper product market and adjusting paper industry.This paper introduces newsprint paper products, printing writing paper, tissue paper, paper board, Paperboard and Corrugated Paper consumption characteristics in China from two aspects of time and district with the statistical data over years, and then it compares with main international product consumption. On the basis of these, through finding main factors which influence consumption and demand, establishing econometric model, identifying the rules of consumption and demand, forecasting the change and trend of consumption and demand in the future, the paper analyzes the main performances the paper industry did not suit demand structure, and finds out the changing needs of China's paper should be based on the adjustment of the industrial structure and put forward a new direction for industrial restructuring. Finally, based on resources, technology, capital and market four restriction analysis of paper industry, this paper figures out China's paper readjustment of the industrial structure should depend on the supportments of the government and the industry associations, adding international trade.
