Study On Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance Of Equipment In Power Plant Basing On Data Mining

As the DCS system developing in Power Plant, there are a great number of data about condition of equipment stored in the DCS, many instruction information for improving efficiency and economy&security are hided in these data. This paper uses the DM for equipment maintenance of Power Plant, and tries to provide decision-making reference through mining the data in DCS. This paper introduces the basic process of DM, and puts stress on principle, algorithm of the Association Rule and its programming realization. The contents are as follows: firstly, make a simple summarization of DM, concept and characteristic of DW, necessity and methods of data preprocessing; Secondly, discuss Apriori algorithm and it's proved ones; Finally, after discussing the developing of equipment maintenance system, an example of using Association Rule in Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PDM) of a Power Plant and its data mining results are given through using SQL Server 2000 and Delphi language.
