Traffic Management And Control System Of Urban Express Ways Orienting The Traffic Incident

As the trend of urban fast transportation development and main framework of urban road network, urban express ways induce and influence the reasonable adjustment of the city space structure, and satisfy the needs of sustainable development with bearing the increasing traffic demand .Traffic incident is what happens on the road and results in the descends of the ability of a road or the abnormally increase of traffic demand. Current researches on the traffic incident usually take the inter-city expressway as an application environment, aim at the characteristics of expressway transportation, and carry on study of the control programs and handling process to the traffic incident. This thesis introduced the research of the traffic incident into the application environment of urban express ways, First the thesis analyzed the respective characteristics of urban express ways ,superhighway and the general city road ,then study the characteristic of the urban express ways traffic incident, and explained the important meaning that processing traffic incident had for the road transportation manage. On the basis of recent relative research, this thesis studied the detection to traffic incident in urban express ways and the corresponded control methods to it. Orienting this application environment of urban express ways, this thesis put forward urban express way traffic management and control method according to the traffic incident, which took actual urban express way traffic incident as the object and core of traffic management and control. And multi-systems to moderate management and control process were formed, which integrated the construction of sub-system in intelligence transportation system. The thesis also set up the frame structure of Express way traffic management system, which took control process orienting the traffic incident as the core, and made an elementary construction project.
