Study On The Core Competence And Strategy For Investment Type Enterprises

The rapid development of the society productivity, the entrance of the overseas capital as our country joined WTO, all of these led to the severity of investment market competition. Now the essence of the market competition in investment enterprises has changed revolutionarily, that is to say, the target of market competition has transferred from the short-term competition predominance (competence) into the persistent competition predominance (core competence). Therefore core competence has become a crucial task in the investment enterprises. The existing research about core competence mainly aims at manufacturing industry. However, what's the character of investment enterprises'core competence, and how to establish it, these problems seem very important.In this paper, the whole process of core competence research of investment enterprise is studied systematically, analyzing the character of core competence, measuring and establishing the core competence, at last, constituting the whole competition stratagem based on the core competence. The paper researched all the content, including three sections. Firstly, measure core competence of investment enterprises, including constructing the Core Competence Index System of investment enterprises, establishing the model for core competence and appraising the core competence. This part located for the core competence of investment enterprises, and plots the competence of enterprises into basic competence, sub-core competence and core competence. Then establishing the core competence, according to the result above, establishing the core competence for the investment enterprises which don't have core competence. This part researched mainly in two ways: generic establishment of core competence and establishment based on the lifecycle of investment object. Finally, according to the result above, it instituted the competence stratagem surrounding core competence. This part considered mainly about specialization and diversification.In the last section of the paper, a case of an enterprise is given to explain the application of theory on core competence that is expounded here. Accordingly it made the paper have the practical significance to some extent.
