The new downtown of some city in south China is a district in which the banking institutions compete for markets strongly. The same business pattern presents four big state-owned commercial banks primarily. The small and middle banks rise together simultaneously. The credit corroborative in both urban and rural areas follows. The foreign capital financial organ hastens to ground. The corporate business competition for vigorous development of the new downtown is exceptionally intensely in particular.In view of this, based on the author's actual experience in a B-bank in the new downtown, applying a case analysis and investigating and research method, the article analyzed the management environment of the sub-branch in the new downtown and discovered the main problems of the corporate business development of the bank company. In the customer structure the customer characteristic of the region still owed the match; the difficulty to struggle for the loan high quality customer is to be high; the corporate business development and management construction were still not scientific; the personal encouraging mechanism was also insufficiently perfect, so that the effectiveness for the corporate business development department to capture the market is restricted.The article discussed the origin of the problems thoroughly, and analyzed the research results of the correlative literature at the same time. From three aspects, namely to develop the corporate business goal customer, to conform the corporate business development management construction, and to consummate the individual encouraging mechanism for the corporate business development, the author put forward the measures, including:First, in the corporate business goal customer development, man must complete the choice of the goal customer, vote for the profession goal customer and concrete short-term, the medium and long-term goal customer.
