A Study On The Developmental Countermeasure Of Farmers' Specialized Cooperative Economic Organization In China

Recent years have been witnessing rapid growth of different types of farmer cooperatives throughout China and their essential role in agricultural development and in helping farmers to get rich.The cooperative activities of farmer's cooperative economic organizations have covered the storage, transportation and marketing, processing, technical and information services in the industries of grain, vegetables, orchards, livestock and birds and aquatics. Practices have proven that these organizations are an effective form for farmers to develop the economy, raise their income and get rich, and have played a positive role in improving the organization level for farmers'access to the market, guiding their participation in competition, improving the quality and security levels of farm produce and building a harmonious society. At present, the most important is to explore ways of improving farmer cooperatives both in theory and practice, and the ways should not only following the modern international cooperative principles, but also fitting the condition of China.This thesis summed up the current situation of farmer cooperative economic organizations, briefly analyzed the necessity of developing farmer cooperative economic organizations, the patterns of farmer cooperative economic organizations, the affection of the government. With the methods of investigation and evidence analysis, concretely analyzed the organizing methods, operating mechanism and the ensuring mechanism of farmer cooperative economic organizations, especially the restricting factors, and discussed issues concerning farmer cooperative economic organizations legislation. Suggestions on how to improve the farmer cooperative economic organizations will help them developing rapidly and healthily.
