| Corporate entrepreneurship (CE) is an entrepreneurial behavior on organization level. Along with the abroad expansion of corporate entrepreneurial actions, relative researches in academia are becoming more and more important, and thus the domain of entrepreneurship is no longer restricted in a conceptual sense to the independent new venture creation process.This paper first introduces the concept of CE and relative conceptions, and then analyses the necessary and feasibility for organizations to take entrepreneurial actions, which are promoted by three aspects. And the developing process and mechanism of CE are discussed here.This paper lays a strong emphasis on the study of the models of CE. The conceptual model of entrepreneurship as firm behavior and the interactive model of the CE process are presented and evaluated. In terms of the principal part of entrepreneurial behaviors, a model of CE in which middle-level managers are regarded as the core is proposed. This model suggests that as the external environment is vested, entrepreneurial opportunities are essential preconditions of CE and middle-level managers who play important roles in CE process, are the core of entrepreneurial team.
