The Impacts Of The Network Of Expressways On Tourism Development In Zhejiang Province

Many academicians domestic or oversea in early days have acknowledged that transport is mostly important for tourism development,but have not been recognized as a key factor in the development of tourism destinations.In my practice,some local leaders and investors pin the blossom or decline of tourism district to the factor of transport.Therefore,I have an advice to explain the relations between transport and tourism in further.In faith,transport is important for tourism development.With the improvement of transport technology,tourism has made a big progress.The choice of tourists from home to dentinations is also impacted by the conditions of transport. Expressways which is a superior program in the road transportation,makes much more effect on the development of tourism,especially for long distance travel.There are locational preponderance,economic preponderance and market preponderance in tourism development of Zhejiang Province.Especially Expressways network and tourism have made rapidly development in last 10 years of Zhejiang Province.Therefor this thesis summarizes the status quo and trend of Expressways of Zhejiang Province,then analyses the relativity between Expressways and tourism development.It was concluded that there are obviously three characters:zone,node and point.Further more,there are three conclusions by the practice of Zhejiang Province.Firstly,Expressways brought on the imbalance of regional tourism development in Zhejiang Province in some sense;Secondly,Expressways have led tourism resources exploitation d centralized in the node of city or along the line of road.Thirldy,The construct of expressways,will reduce the "perceptive distance" of tourist,enhance the attraction from tourism destinations to tourist markets,which will make impacts in where tourists come,how much times they will stay for,and what they will choose,that take a great effect on the development of the development of tourism destinations.According to the study of this thesis,tourist resources exploitation and tourism spatial arrangement in Zhejiang Province should consider Expressways as a key factor.Further more,after the analysis and evaluation of the connectivity of areas,we give some advices for the tourism development in fact of Zhejiang Province.This thesis will not only bring some rules which are useful in tourist resources exploitation and construction of "three belts and ten seactions",also make a practice prove in the tourism transport study.
