Study On The Influence And The Countermeasures Of Agricultural Products Exportation After China's Entering WTO In Quzhou

China has speeded up its step into internationalization after being approved to enter the World Trade Organization (WTO). As a big country of agriculture, great concerns have been paid about the influences on Chinese agricultural development brought by accession of WTO. Before entrance into WTO, many agriculture economists did a lot of researches on the influence of the entrance on Chine's agriculture and national economy, in particular estimated and analyzed the circumstance of the main agricultural product on the international market and trades. However, It should be pointed out from reviewing the development in the 4 years and the situation that the amount of agricultural product export is much lower the expected one and moreover the prospect is not so reasonable, and faces the great chanllege, although on the whole the exported amount showed increase. Therefore, it is imperative to study the patterns of agricultural product export and trase basen on the basic rules of WTO. The new trend and change of agricultural products in international markets and trades should be carefully examined, the factors affecting the market competition and export of agricultural products be determined, and all advantages and chances should be taken and possible disadvantage be avoided, so as to enhance the step of going abroad and enlarge the export of agricultural products. As a big city I terms of agricultural production, the development of agriculture is closely related to the general economy in Quzhou, and it is facing the various issues brought by WTO entrance in agricultural product trade and production. Thus in the current research, these issues and possible strategies for overcoming them are investigated.The methodologies in this research is characterized by the combinations of theoretical and case analysis, of quantitative and qualitative analysis, and of macro- and micro-cosmic analysis. Based on the previous researches, the current study is focused on agriculture products in Quzhou as the subject, to investigate the influence of WTO entrance on the export of agricultural products and limiting factors through analyzing the situation and present issues related to unfavorable market competetion and trade.In this paper, the major content and general principles of WTO agricultural agreements, and influence of China's entrance into the organization on the international trade and productive prospects of agricultural products in China are firstly comprehensively described, and then available researches on the influence of WTO entrance on export of national agricultural products and relevant policies to cope with the possible negative effects are reviewed. Accordingly, present problems are outlined. Secondly, the status of export and trade of agricultural products in Quzhou is analyzed, and the positive or negative effects on staple crop production and processing in Quzhou, brought by China's accession to WTO are discussed. And the main problems and factors limiting export of local agricultural products are determined. Finally, based on the above comprehensive analysis, the strategies and practices for improving competetion of agricultural products made in Quzhou on international market and then enhancing export of these products.
