Research On Knowledge Innovation And Enterprise Sustained Competitive Advantage

In the knowledge-base economy times, knowledge becomes the source of enterprise competitive advantages gradually; and then knowledge innovation becomes the main approach that the enterprises gain competitive advantages. The ability and efficiency of knowledge innovation has the decisive effect on the enterprise sustained development. Now the management environment changing all the time, knowledge innovation becomes the main way for enterprises to survive in cruel competition. In order to keep the competitive advantages developing in the global, fierce environment, enterprises must take seriously on knowledge innovation, use effective measures that they can seize every opportunity and meet every challenge. Base on that, my research spreads out from several aspects as following:Firstly, researches on enterprise competition advantage and knowledge innovation.About the source of enterprise competitive advantages, Classical Strategy Theory considered it coming from internal and external environment; Structure Industrial Theory considered it as attraction and relative marketplace advantage of the Industrial that enterprises belongs to; Enterprise Endogenous Theory considered it as distinctive conditions or quality that enterprises own. As fact, knowledge is the real source of competitive advantages. Based on analysis of the competitive advantage and knowledge innovation relation model, my research has discussed achievements and deficiencies of relative studies, in order to make researches proceeding on these deficiencies.Secondly, researches on definition, classification, characters and approaches of knowledge innovation. It is began with fixing the definition of knowledge innovation; and then expounding characters of knowledge innovation on external, uncertainty, route dependence and accumulate; then demarcating knowledge innovation on innovated knowledge aspect; last, specifically for the enterprise diversity, discriminating approaches of knowledge innovation into one self's own R&D, introducing and imitation, cooperation R&D three kinds. Thirdly, researches on knowledge innovation process. The enterprise knowledge innovation activity is a development process, in this process, knowledge accumulates added value unceasingly, goes and returns in following a circle, and never dries up. My research divides it into five links: knowledge acquisition, knowledge absorbing, knowledge creation, knowledge transference, knowledge accumulation. It has discussed how the knowledge as competitive advantage source accumulated in enterprise from two circulation of this process, providing persistence driving force to competitive advantage of enterprise.Fourthly, researches on influencing factors of knowledge innovation. When being engaged in the knowledge innovation activities, Enterprise accepts effects of environment inevitably, and also accepts effects of various inside resources such as human resources, finances, technologies and various inside organization factors. So, my research bases on these three kinds of influencing factors, analyzed their effects to knowledge innovation deeply.Fifthly,, by discussing the relation between enterprises sustained advantage and knowledge innovation, and based the above researches, established knowledge innovation-based enterprises sustained competitive advantage model. After detailed understanding and explaining on this model, it looks forward to being innovative and breaking on relative researches.Lastly, through the analysis on classic cases of 3M and Lenovo, getting their beneficial useful experiences. Then discussing main measures of enterprise knowledge innovation, these measures are good for doing the knowledge innovation activity and promoting sustained competitive advantages.
