Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), ways of enterprises' growth, were used by enterprises more and more today. Five M&A waves have happened up to now in developed countries. The enterprise' M&A have happened in almost all of the countries, whose industry distribution was wide, district was vast and scale was large, and so had those among transnational magnates. But unfortunately, lots of M&A through the world failed. Research showed that after M&A, although the performances of enterprises may rise substantially in the first year, they may decrease greatly in the second year. That can be explained by the fact that little attention was paid to post-merger organization integration. The thesis was motivated by the importance of post-merger organization integration and the short of theory about them. The thesis aimed to find a valid way of post-merger organization integration and hoped to serve the enterprises' M&A in China to gain good performances. So the thesis included the following points. There were a lot of problems in Post-merger organization integration that can not be solved with traditional organization theory. The thesis advances two dimensions of post-merger organization integration. The thesis included these conclusions: (1) Modularity was a valid way to solve the problems in Post-merger organization integration; (2) Post-merger organization integration based on modularity can strength the flexibility of the enterprises; (3) There were two models on organization modularity in enterprises; (4) The patterns of M&A influenced the Post-merger organization integration. The enterprises should consider the differences to other enterprises when they chose the model of the post-merger organization integration.
