Study On Chinese Enterprises' Learning In Technology Alliance

The focus of competition has changed from resource based competition to capability and knowledge based competition, along with the effect of knowledge, technology and capability in the competition becoming more and more important. It's hard to survive and develop in this competition for an enterprise only depends on its own power. It would be better for a corporation seeking for new development to cooperate than to oppose, which means taking technology alliance to get superiority in competition.This dissertation has made a system analysis on the knowledge study process of one enterprise during technology alliance, combined with the five parts of the lifecycle theory in technology alliance. Then it gained three factors that determined the study purpose of enterprise, which are: the knowledge system of the corporation itself, the knowledge sharing attitude of both sides, the learning ability of the corporation. After deeply analysis on these three factors, we can educe how to study in technology alliance.According to the Chinese technology alliance status at present, the cooperating modes our nation adopted all through with foreign corporations, especially multinational corporations are "change markets for technology". Although we have already made success in the knowledge learning of some industries, communication industry in particular, there are still some problems, such as: 1, the learning ability of enterprise itself is not very strong. The knowledge level of the corporation can't catch up with the technology level of the alliance partner, and then it affect the obtaining of the technology. 2, the purpose of the alliance can't be attained. Because of the control on core technology by foreigners and the regardless of the promotion on learning ability by Chinese, the purpose of obtaining technology through alliance can't be carried out. So we table some proposals aiming at enterprise running and national policy, hoping to solve these problems.
