The regional sustainable development problem has been a focus to the society for a long time. Un-balanced development is the law of economic growth. The capability of sustainable development depends on the coordination degree of economic, environment and resource factors, which the regional complicated system is composed of. Sustainable forestry is the important component of regional sustainable development. It is important to match with the factors in the system for forestry development to reach the sustainable target.This study takes the province (city) as fundamental unit. On the basis of studying synthetically on economy development, it analyzes current situation and characteristic by comparing with forestry development and society economy, resource, environment correlation in three aspects with quantization method. It also measures the condition of the forest resource in every province. Principal component method and cluster analysis method are applied to explore these differences in forestry development. Simultaneously, it brings forward concrete measures and policy advices for regional forestry development and sustainable development. The study with demonstration comes to verify forestry division into districts. It is intent to explore the connection between forestry development and social economy development by analyzing the coordination of the three factors and provide enlightenment for forestry development plans and policies and also aims to provide the new research angle.
