According to the theory of marketing management, strategic management, and theory of industrial organization, this thesis analyzes current China OTC market developing trend, status and disadvantages of Sino-American shanghai Squibb Pharm,Ltd.(SASS) OTC strategy, Used as reference to evolution of American OTC market. Aided to catch the opportunity of china OTC market and build competitive advantage, this thesis explore the two facets: what is the chance and what should to be done.The thesis is composed of five chapters.The first chapter explains the conception of OTC and describes the literature and basic theory correlated to the circle of the thesis.The second chapter introduces the current achievement and development strategies of Sino-American shanghai Squibb Pharm, Ltd. Overall situation of China OTC market is briefly explained.The third chapter analyzes the factors inside the OTC organization of Sino-American shanghai Squibb Pharm, Ltd.The fourth chapter analyzes the environments outside of Sino-American shanghai Squibb Pharm, Ltd. and indicates the important developing chance of SASSFinally, based on a lot of the analysis at inner and outer factors in the third chapter and fourth chapter, the fifth chapter discusses the OTC development strategy of Sino-American shanghai Squibb Pharm, Ltd.
