A Study Of Supply Chain Management System Coordination

Supply chain is based on " competition- cooperate- coordination" mechanism. Coordination is one of two parts of Supply chain and the base of Supply chain operation steady.The coordination issues in Supply chain system are discussed systematically and thoroughly. Based on the analysis of research literatures actuality , the definition of Supply chain coordination is summarized and given, and the reasons and effects of Supply chain coordination are analyzed. Controlling modes , content and means of Supply chain coordination are presented .The two issues of Supply chain coordination are specifically as followed:For the strategic coordination, gravity location model and network optimization model are presented here. In the latter ,its objectives integrate supply chain flexibility so that the whole supply chain is more harmonious to deal with the market uncertainty. And the several solutions to the model are discussed finally.For the operational coordination, such as coordination between purchasing and inventory, coordination between buyer and vendor, the corresponding models are developed, the solutions based on the theory and method of operations research presented , and the corresponding illustrations followed.In the end, according to the study in this thesis and case and the reflected matters in case , I point out the shortage of this thesis, and offers a few ideas about supply chain coordination further research aspects as well as relative contents.
