Since 1978, GuangDong has made a large progress in its economic development, which was basically driven by the material capital rather than the human capital. Therefore, human capital investment plays a key role in the process of GuangDong's economic development. On the basis of summarizing others' relevant theories, the dissertation compares GuangDong with ZheJiang and JiangSu in the aspects of education investment and health investment of human capital and sets up a production and regression model to analyze the economic effect of different essentials of human capital investment. Eventually, the model gives us a conclusion: both education investment and health investment have made about three quarters contribution to economic increase, whereas material capital investment has made only one quarter contribution. In the last chapter of the dissertation, the author gives some suggestions. On the one hand, we should count on training, researching or bringing into foreign advanced human capital to improve our educational investment. On the other hand, we could also strongly develop the sanitation projects and perfect the medical health care system to accelerate the health investment of human capital.
