The Research On Influence Of Capital Investment On Urban Income Gap From The Perspective Of Education And Health

Since reform and opening in past years, the economy of china have get the great development and improvement. People’s living standards, income level has been greatly improved But some discordant social factors have also gradually expanded. Unequal distribution of income, income disparities become a hot topic in modern society. They are also affecting the government to build a harmonious society. How to narrow the income gap has become a problem that the government must address urgently.With the progress of urbanization, the urban residents’ income gap is gradually expanding. In modern society, human capital is a very important factor of the economic development. In our country, the extensive economic which is relying on resources can’t promote the economy development, Therefore, human capital as the most positive factor will be the driving force for it.In this paper, it uses both inductive analysis and empirical analysis.Through the exploration on theoretical literature on domestic and foreign scholars, taking the data of CHNS database, the research discuss the influence of human capital investment on urban income gap by quantile regression analysis and it comes to conclusions. First, the investment in human capital can promote the growth of income. Second, the increasing of middle-income strata for the education investment is the most significant factor of revenue growth, the government should increase investment in education for low-income and encourage the middle-income class to add self-education investment; At last, the investment in health most significant for revenue growth of low-income groups. Finally it gives some policy recommendations of government in narrowing the urban income gap on the research conclusions above.
