Study On Civil Airport Engineering Project Management Model In China

As China became a member of WTO and developed all the economic at high speed, the current civil airport was not suitable for the high-speed growth of civil aviation. Furthermore, civil airports in China are not well distributed in low density. To meet the high-speed development of civil aviation demand, we should build more new modern airports or enlarge current airports. Thus, airport construction will enter into a high-speed development phase. But for the reason of management systems in civil aviation industry, it's an uncontroversial truth that airport engineering project management model has the character of simple ness, backward, full of practice. So it's a big subject needed to be solved urgently i.e. that how to manage the large special engineering project which has the characteristics of huge investment, high technical and hard construction management as well as high risk in engineering management.The thesis analyzed the characteristic and managing difficulties of civil airport engineering project management first, reviewing the developing process of our country's airport engineering project management. Introducing the case, the author participated in the airport engineering management. The author analyzed the current situation of our country and pointed out the main problems of civil airport project management. At last the author gave a train of thought for solving the current problem and raising the management level from the point of view of the airport's proprietor's project management. He also tried to establish a modern management model, which can achieve information, socialization, internationalization in airport engineering project management, design a high efficient project management organization, share project management resources and carry out scientific human resources management. He gave further discussion about this modal. Currently although many papers point out the management of modern project in our basic facilities construction such as electric power, water supply, expressway and bridge projects, few people studied modern management used in civil airport projects. Current study of airport projects is limited.
