Meanwhile, construction projects become larger in sacle and more complex with many conflicts between the participants during the execution. As well as competition, cooperation can never be ignored for the"win-win"effect it brings to all the participants of construction projects. The cooperative relationship based on virtual organization between the owner and other participants is possible during the execution of construction projects. Partnering is adopted for cooperation and win-win.With the above background, the thesis focuses on the virtual organization based partnering construction projects. The thesis starts with virtual organization's concept and characterists, and its application in construction projects, namely virtual construction. With cooperation and trust as the foundation for virtual construction, the thesis turns to partnering, mainly analyzing the organization structure, procedure, factors and characteristic. Based on traditional selection of contractor, the thesis studies the comprehensive evaluation system for partner selection of construction projects. The thesis finally studies the model and implementation measures of performance assessment of partners, with the performance assessment of the owner and the contractor as illustrated. It is intended to accurately assess the performance of all the participants and improve the relationship continuously.
