As tourism developed rapidly in the past few years, the economic value of tourism resources showed up. Investing in exploring tourism resources became focus of social economy. People don't settle for qualitative description of the evaluation of the value of tourism resources any more and hope to quantificationally evaluate it. Owing to the time of this study is short in our country, though a few profitable explore and attempt have been made, farther research and discuss have to make in theory and method.Having reviewed the foreign and domestic literature, we acquire the progress of theories and applications in tourism resources valuation in China. Based on the characteristics, functions and conception of State-owned tourism resources, we reconsider the limitations of traditional value theories. By reflecting the basic value conception, we bring forward a new system of tourism resources valuation. Having systematically discussed foreign main non-market valuation methods, we amend TCM model in aspect of multi-spot tour. At last, we select two appropriated methods, which are TCM and CVM, to evaluate the value of tourism resource of Lao Mountain, verify the reliability of non-market valuation methods in our country.This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is an introduction. The main content is the present condition of the evaluation of the tourism resources in china and abroad, as well as the meaning of the study. The second part is the theory foundation of the resources value evaluation. Mainly discuss the resources value theories and resources value evaluation theories. The third part discuss the internationally prevalent value evaluation method of the tourism resources in detail and present the measure for multi-spot tour problem. the forth part is about the application of the model.
