Economic Study On Chinese Oil-bearing Crops Industry

With the developing of the policy of opening to the outside world, China has got a remarkable achievement in the economic: the living standard of its people is improving. As a necessity in the living, there is an increcing demand in the quantity and quality in oil-bearing crops and its processing products.But the actuality of Chinese oil-bearing crops industry is that the oil-bearing crops' import, especially the soybean, is increasing fast and at the same time the production is wandering; the edible plant oil' import is rising and the same time the production capability is surplus; the enterprises of China is in difficulty and at the same time many foreign capital enterprises in oil-bearing crops productions invest much in China.Since the accession into WTO, China is carring out the promises: the quota is decreaing and the tariff is cutting down. After the reformation of RMB exchge rate, RMB is valuing more. All these make Chinese oil-bearing crops industry face more furious competition and make us worry about the future of the oil-bearing crops production, the serving security and the oil-bearing crops'enterprises in China.Meanwhile, as the developing of new technologies, there are more and more varities of newly found oil-bearing crops and their productions. If China do well in the advantages of technology and market, its oil-bearing crops industry will be brilliant.Now China is entering the period of "11th 5s"with some vital problems as the resolving of "three Fs", the building of harmonious community, innovating, etc. This thesis intents to give stratages for the development of Chinese oil-bearing crops industry, a part of agriculture, and even for the revolving of those vital problems through the study of it.This thesis firstly gives an analysis of the actuality of China's oil-bearing crops industry, and studied its current production, consumption and trade situation in chapter II. It points out that China's oil-bearing crops industry is comparative weak in general, that while with China'large production and large consumption, it is a net oil-bearing crops importing country with the wandering production and less than consumption.In chapter HI, this thesis studies the actuality of main goods of China's oil-bearing crops in production, consumption and trade. It points out that the oil-bearing processing capability of China's oil enterprises is surplus but the importing amount of some goods from oil-bearing crops is rising, that the difficulties and many potential in market of China's enterprises in goods of oil-bearing crops.
