Studies On The Strategy For Promoting Zhejiang Processing Trade In Economic Globalization

With the accelerating of economic globalization, processing trade has made up for half the total volume of China's imports and exports and made historic contribution to promote China's foreign trade and even the whole economic and social development. The third plenary session of the 16th CPC Central Committee advocated a decision on issues regarding the improvement of the socialist market economic system. It said that we should maintain the development of processing trade, attract Multinational Corporations to transfer higher technology, processing parts and R&D to our country in order to update our processing trade.In Zhejiang province, different opinions exist both in government segments and academic circles on how to understand the role processing trade has played in economic globalization. Such bifurcations directly cause the Zhejiang processing trade lagging behind in the economic globalization. In order to solve this problem, we have to do research on the government strategy for the processing trade development in economic globalization academically.This essay brings in the principle of public administration and makes an analysis on the government strategy for promoting Zhejiang processing trade. In economic globalization, the government, acting as "the limited government" under marketing rules, creates a better environment for the processing trade.It consists of six parts: Chapter 1 describes the reason why Zhejiang processing trade in economic globalization is chosen as the research object. Chapter 2 introduces relative research findings on theories and practice of processing trade. Chapter 3 analyzes the influence of the economic globalization on Zhejiang economy and processing trade. Chapter 4 demonstrates that processing trade development is the first choice to improve Zhejiang economic development. Chapter 5 claims the strategy for promoting Zhejiang processing trade in economic globalization. Chapter 6 makes some research on the concrete strategy for promoting Zhejiang processing trade in economic globalization.
