The post assessment as so called refers to judge and analyze whether the overall construction project is in conformity with the requirement of the construction procedures and how the actual situation evolves as the anticipation or planning through comprehensive summaries, analysis and review on different links of these stages as decision making, designing, preparation for the construction operation, implementation of the construction. Preparation for the output as well as the inspection for completion of the construction project, that is, to verify the accuracy of the intended targets or planning with the actual effect of the completion, to judge the actual results of the construction project by the intended targets or planning. So as to affirm the achievements, sum up the experiences, review the problems, draw on lessons, propose recommendations, improve the activities. In order to continuously enhance the level in decision making and improve the benefits of the input. And the post assessment mainly involves such assessments as the impact assessment: to assess various impacts to different aspects upon completion of the project for operation/use; the economic benefits assessment: to assess the financing input, the national economic benefits, the accounting benefits, the technical improvements and the size benefits, as well as the depth of the feasibility study; the process assessment: to assess the overall format of such processes as establishment of the project, design and construction, construction management, completion for operation/use, and operation and production, etc. Therefore the post assessment is the key stage in the construction project management process which is very significant for the refinement of the construction project process and procedures and for the incorporation into international practice in project management.The thesis is divided into seven parts.
