In the process of Industrialization and urbanization, more and more peasants loss their farming land, which is fundamental and dependable for their earnings. The problems of peasants' livelihoods become more and more serious.Sustainable Livelihoods Approach is an analytical framework for helping us understanding different livelihoods capitals allocation by the outside institutional factors under the vulnerability context. The tool guides us to have a general knowledge of the peasants' livelihoods model, i.e. they kept their livelihoods by allocating the Human Capital and Natural Capital in agricultural environment. While coming into the non-agricultural market, land-expropriated peasants' capitals changed, the connotation of Human capital changed too. A new livelihoods model needs to be set up. From the angle of Human Capital, this thesis sets examples of Xinba Village and Qingtai Village to discuss the transformation of peasants' livelihoods model by combining the methods of questionnaire investigation and case interview, i.e. the strategies which land-expropriated peasants used to keep their basic livelihoods in this period.
