The rapid developments of information technology and economic globalization have broken the traditional market competition pattern. The competition of enterprise has gradually changed into supply chain competition. Meanwhile, with fierce competition day by day, market demand is changeable. Therefore supply chain enterprise is facing enormous pressure to shorten delivery time, reduce costs and improve customer service constantly, which demand the ability to make scientific prediction and fast reaction to the changeful market. At the same time, supply chain enterprise should strengthen cooperation among them. Collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment, that is CPFR, is just produced under this kind of background.The purpose of this text is to offer some minds and references for domestic research and application of Supply Chain Management(SCM) by systematic study on CPFR. The thesis, according to modern enterprise management theory and the actuality of economic running, has analyzed the reasons CPFR produced and its forming process. On the basis of domestic and overseas literature, comparing with different CPFR definition, the author has given a reasonable conception of CPFR and analyzed its characteristics and advantages. In research of implementation of CPFR, the text has analyzed the basic conditions and sketched the frame and its operational mode in detail. The improvement of CPFR operational mode is the keystone herein. After analyzing the existing problems in implementation and the deficiency of instructional mode, this text has improved CPFR operational mode. The improved mode has divided the core operation flow into four parts and designed circulatory mode, which will help enterprises understand and use CPFR better. Simultaneously the improved mode has emphasized demand management and stressed requirement guide. At CPFR new strategic technology, the advantages of traditional SCM idea such as QR, ECR is well reflected. At the end, the text has analyzed the problems faced with CPFR development and looked forward to the prospect of CPFR.
