Taking village Q and village S in Hebei province as examples, this thesis analyses the changes of village development and the transfer of labor forces in rural areas in China. And then this thesis makes a point of the impact that the transfer of labor forces brings to the economic and social development in rural areas. The main content of this thesis are as following:Firstly, analyses the actuality of labor forces employment in rural areas and looks back the research productions about the states of village development and the transfer of labor forces in rural areas and the relation between them. Secondly, introduces the states of village Q and village S in the cases of economic increase, social development, and the transfer of labor forces after Households Responsibility System. Thirdly, analyses concretely the impact that the transfer of labor forces makes on the economic and social development of the two villages. Basing on the above, this thesis sums up the impact that the transfer of labor forces makes on the development of rural areas, and puts forward some measures to quicken the transfer of labor forces and the development of rural areas. Finally, there are the abbreviated conclusion and some illuminations.In this thesis, the author proves that improving the transfer of labor forces in rural areas and quickening the development of cities are already an inevitable trend, although we should take carefully to select the concrete road by taking all the aspects into account.We must provide more advantaged policy supply for the village development after the transfer of labor forces in rural areas, as well as increate more advantaged conditions to improve the transfer of labor forces. We must measure to local conditions, using adequately various resources of the villages and making plans of the transfer of labor forces that are suitable for the very village. The importance of women in the transfer of labor forces and the development of rural areas should be realized.
