The Research On Core Competence Of State-owned Holding Commercial Banks Of China

Applying relevant theories of management and economics, this paper proceeds with dissection of aspects of core competence such as essence, characteristic, source, latitude and so on, and attempts to abstract main contents of conception, characteristic, constitute, management and upgrade of common commercial banks'competence from theory and practice.Integrated with practice in state-owned holding commercial banks, based on comparison with the core competence of international leading commercial banks, this paper thoroughly analyzes the gap of state-owned commercial banks in aspect of core competence, and puts forward necessity and urgency of implementing core competence strategy. Finally, this paper brings forward relevant measures and suggestions to forge and upgrade the core competence for state-owned holding commercial banks.Besides the foreword and epilogue, this paper breaks into four parts.The foreword explains the origin of this paper.Chapter I: a summary of theory of core competence.
