On Efficiency And Equity Of Socialist Market Economy

Efficiency and equity are two goals pursued by social development,so does Socialist market economy. Marxism, Western economics and Chinese economists all analyse the meaning and the relation of efficiency and equity ,it can be pointed out that the relationship must be integrated with the actual situation and needs of the times, and should connect basic socialist system with the market economy in China .Then by recalling the party's exploration of the efficiency and equity issues and by focusing on the party's choice between efficiency and equity during the Party's reform and opening up process,from equity priority to efficiency priority, taking into account equitable balance between efficiency and equity ,then to pay more attention to equity, we can say that equality must be cared as important as efficiency in order to promot the harmonious development of society.By promoting the interaction mechanism of the efficiency and equity ,we can make the society development more scientific and more harmonious in the 21st century.
