As the market demand for the steel and iron product increasing, the steel and iron industry meets the historical development opportunity. However, raw material and the fuel material supply tense question becomes the bottleneck question which limits the development of iron and steel enterprises. As to the coal, although our country's coal resource is rich, the present situation such as scarce of coal products, the tightness of the transports as well as the high coal price, is still difficult to be improved in short period. Under such background, iron and steel enterprise's coal purchase will face the unprecedented challenge. It can be said that the coal purchase is critical to iron and steel enterprise's survival matter, the strategic commodity supply supporting capabilities already became one weigh index of the iron and steel enterprise's core competence. Therefore, it is of extremely vital significance for the iron and steel enterprise to change traditional purchase conception, and implement the coal strategy purchase.Under this background, this thesis studies how steel enterprise implement coal strategy purchase on the base of strategy purchase and from the view of supply and strategy level. The main body of this thesis is composed by four parts. It first elaborates the strategic purchase elementary theory, and the meaning of strategy purchase implement under the supply management pattern. Afterwards, through the coal supply environment analysis, it points out the problems which iron and steel enterprises coal purchase are facing, and discusses the frame system with which the and steel enterprise to implement the strategic purchase. It lays emphasis on analyzing the concentrated purchase, the process management of purchase, the supplier relationship management as well as the supplier achievements management and the practical significance and the implementation methods. Finally, combining with the coal purchase example of Wuhan Iron and Steel Co,ltd.(WISCO), it discusses the concrete method and the strategy for strategic coal purchase and the supplier management. |
