The Research Of Marketing Of The City Domestic Garbage In The Three Gorges Area

The problem of domestic garbage proposal has come into being since the beginning of human society. There has always been some garbage in the daily life, nevertheless in the early days, the city scale was small, and the elements of garbage were simple that consisted of some organic matters, as dust, vegetable leaves, which were easily taken in under the natural condition. Although it was handled simply, its harm to the environment was not obvious. With the surge of urban population, the improvement of life quality, the complexity of the garbage elements ,and the increase of harmful remnant and the inorganic substance in the modern time, it is more difficult to collect, classify, transport and dispose the city domestic garbage. If the garbage is disposed improperly, it will affect the city landscape, take up the land, pollute the soil and the ground and underground water resources, influence the air quality, spread the disease and impact the inhabitants' health. In addition, it is an increasing economic burden to collect, transport and dispose the massive city domestic garbage.In China, the city domestic garbage is dealt with in the government's charge and disposed at the government's cost, a management system which was adopted in the planned economy. At present, the disposal system of our city domestic garbage makes it easy to confine the disposal only to discuss and analyze the disposing method itself. Consequently, the chosen disposal method stresses more on the environmental factors rather than the minimum cost and maximum profit, which deviates from the law of economic operation and management in market-oriented economy. With the increasing amount of garbage, the government cannot afford the high expense of garbage disposal. Furthermore, the garbage is disposed practically at the cost of environment, and the garbage disposal falls into a strange vicious circle. At present, the domestic garbage disposal of the Three Gorges area has dropped into such circle: on the one hand, a great deal of domestic garbage hasn't been disposed promptly according to the environmental factors, and the problem of garbage which polluting the environment is common; on the other hand, in the last few years, nearly RMB 4 billion has been invested in the Three Gorges area to construct thirteen city disposal facilities, but it does not work well.
