Project Guarantee is a very important part of the Project Finance. A successful guanrentee plan will be important for the success of the whole Project Finance. Especially, for the bank, Guanrentee is one of the most important instrument for the risk-taking of Project loan, because the 'limited recourse' design of Project Finance, that is the most important character of Project Finance, limited the recourse of bank to the project loan.At different phases of project, the venture of Project Finance was so different that the guarantee way of different phases would also different. For bank, most venture focused on the project building phase, so the guarantee of building phase was the most important part of project guarantee.
